SEN Performances

While the magic of the North Pole remains the same, we adjust the environment on this day to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for guests with autism, sensory processing sensitivities, or learning disabilities.

How is this show different?

For our SEN performance, we make "relaxed" adjustments to the production to reduce anxiety and sensory overload:

  • Adjusted Lighting: The auditorium lights (house lights) will remain on at a low level throughout the show. We also remove any sudden strobe effects or harsh flashing lights.
  • Reduced Volume: The overall volume of the music and SFX will be turned down to a more comfortable level.
  • A "Relaxed" Atmosphere: We have a "no-shushing" policy. Movement, vocalisations, and coming and going from the auditorium are perfectly okay.
  • Reduced Capacity: We sell fewer tickets for this performance to ensure there is more room between groups and less crowding.
